My name is Jessica Nicole. I'm a 25 year old, mommy-to-be, born & raised in southern Virginia.
On Valentines Day, February 14th, my Granny passed away of breast cancer. On March 14th, my life changed as I discovered I was pregnant with a little miracle and it's been a joy every since. In honor of my Granny (also known as Judy) and with the help of my Mother (Jackie), I decided to carry on the "J" name tradition while considering the little one a name.
Early July, I was scheduled my first ultrasound to determine the gender of the sweet baby in my belly. I planned a large cookout for my closest friends and family to attend that weekend to help celebrate. Sarah, a friend of mine made a beautiful cake which would be cut to show pink or blue to tell the guests whether our dear little "Baby J" would be a boy or a girl.

Miss Jaselyn
is expected to grace the world with her presence right before
Thanksgiving, November 18th 2013. I couldn't be more excited. She's
spoiled beyond belief already!
I took some time off of work in August, so Mom and I could begin working on our bedroom, with the help of Grandpa Scott in Georgia who purchased our beautiful matching bedding and Monica who donated the crib. I absolutely love it!
September seems to be breezing by. I celebrated my 25th birthday on the 6th and I'm now in my third trimester, 31 weeks, and visiting the doctor every two weeks to check on progress. Next month we'll be having my baby shower, thanks to my Mom and her best friend, Monica. With it being so close to Halloween (October 13th) we decided on a Halloween theme because it happens to be my favorite holiday of the year. Besides, I don't have her cute butt to dress up yet, may as well have some fun!
I'm ecstatic to be able to have something so special to celebrate the holidays with this year, and for the rest of my life. Jaselyn is honestly the best thing that could happen to my family and I, hoping that she will bring my small family together with all of her love.
